Now, here is a product that everyone can use in their house: a power strip that pivots to fit anywhere and accommodate any electrical plug. Originally just a concept, Jake Zien's innovative outlet design is finally a real product thanks to social product design network, Quirky.
Messing around with the Pivot Power, we wonder why Zien's concept power strip didn't become a real gadget sooner. We've all run into bulky electrical plugs that end up hogging the slots of another outlet, so why not shove some pivots between each outlet to solve the problem.
Quirky's Pivot Power is currently in production and will cost only $25. After a little hands-on, we can say the final product looks pretty damn close to Zien's concept renderings — always a good thing because we hate it when things get cut from the original design. LINK
