Most iPhone docks give you a clear view of the screen, just in case you get a phone call or a text or something. Not the Black Diamond! You pretty much shove your entire phone inside this wacky thing.
Apparently, this dock "brings the colors of the iPhone screen into a 3D light experience." OK! Sounds interesting enough, and it does look rather pretty. But on the other hand, it looks completely impractical. I would rather be able to read text messages than have something pretty to stare at on my desk.
