With the Verizon iPhone set to be announced tomorrow, new rumors about its implementation are flying all over the place. One such rumor has Verizon doing what AT&T will not: offering an unlimited data plan.
AT&T is already not exactly a favorite company of iPhone owners stuck with it, so Verizon shouldn't have too hard a time stealing away people who are near the end of their contracts. But by offering up an all-you-can-eat data plan when no such option is available at AT&T, they'll be enticing power users to break their contracts as well. Imagine that: competition making things better for consumers. What a novel thought!
