This is the Lenovo ThinkPad X1, the thinnest laptop out there outfitted with Intel's speedy Core i7 processor. It's not the cheapest ultraportable out there, but it may be the fastest.
Starting at $1,400, the X1 comes in at 3.1 pounds and 0.67 inches thick with a 13-inch screen, which isn't too bad. That screen is Gorilla Glass, which should prevent scratches and cracks, and it's got Dolby Home Theater sound on board, although how great speakers that'll fit in such a small laptop are is debatable. In any case, if you're looking for lots of speed in a small package, this is right up your alley.
