There's a general rule in the high-end speakers game: the weirder a speaker looks, the more ridiculous the promises of sound fidelity and the more astronomical the price. And judging by the looks of these Figaro speakers, they're gonna be reeeeeal expensive.
SW Speakers, the makers of the Figaros, haven't announced the pricing yet, but they are up for bedazzling your pair with gold, silver or diamonds if you'd like, which should tell you all you need to know about that. As for sound, I'm sure they sound just great. But then, so do many speakers that sully themselves by being contained in something as boring as a rectangular housing.
