Don't expect to see any more set images from The Dark Knight Rises coming out of the 'Burgh, as the production of Christopher Nolan's final(?) Bat-film has just completed its shoot in Steeltown.
For the past month, we have been getting tons of looks and images coming from the set, and, with production set to move to L.A., our guess is that things may quiet down on the Batman front for a bit ... and that might not necessarily be a bad thing. Before filming began in Pittsburgh, information on the production was barely fizzling out, but now it's quite the opposite, and almost too much has been revealed.
The crew must have enjoyed their time filming in the 'Burgh, though, as below you'll find a scan of the newspaper ad that ran in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette thanking the city for allowing the production to transform a portion of it into Batman's hometown of Gotham.
And speaking of revelations, there are also a bunch of very interesting, more candid shots of Bane at Heinz field, where you can get some pretty high-quality looks at Tom Hardy in his mask and other costume additions. PHOTOS
