When the Disappearing Car Door, presented by Jatech, appeared a few years back, the smooth functionality and overall presentation led many to question whether the device was real or not. Several years later and we still don't have actual cars on the street using this mechanism, and the authenticity of the invention remains in question. Nevertheless, the idea remains sounds in terms of a way to facilitate tight parking situations and overall easier entry and exit options.
