Adobe might have conceded that mobile Flash wasn't worth the hassle, but it still knows how to keep Photoshop as the premier image editing tool. Be astounded as you see Photoshop CS6's Content Aware Fill tool magically move objects around a picture with little effort.
Photoshop is only a tool. What you do with it and how you push the software to its limits to bend to your creativity takes years of learning. Ask any Photoshop pro, and the answers will be the same: most complex photoshopping takes hours to work on. It's the only reason why some graphic designers are paid the big bucks.
Fixing an image is not easy stuff. It's a lot of cloning, a lot of blurring, a lot of layers — hours and hours of work.
With each version of Photoshop, Adobe seems to bring smarter and smarter algorithms to the program to turn difficult edits into really simple ones.
Take this video demo of the Patch Tool and updated Content Aware Fill. Both tools show off how to correct a photo within seconds. The software does all the hard stuff.

If the final software works as well as the demo does, there might be an uptick in poorly shot photos, but hey, who cares about that, when we can move objects around without spending hours obsessing over the details?
As you can see for yourself in the video, Photoshop CS6 also has a new darker look to bring it in line with Adobe Lightroom's UI. But those who prefer the gray UI of past Photoshops will also have to the option of changing it back. VIDEO
