Bryan Cranston denies those Lex Luthor rumors

If you've been waiting on confirmation that Walter White will be Superman's future nemesis, you may want to sit down.
Bryan Cranston is a talented actor, he looks great bald, and he starred in one of the most popular and critically acclaimed shows of the last decade. Casting him as Lex Luthor would be quite a coup.
But that doesn't mean it's happening.

The rumors that Cranston would play Luthor are already so huge that many are insisting not only that he is confirmed for Luthor, but that the deal is for a whopping six films. When Cranston was asked about it, though, he seemed baffled at the idea.
I’ve heard that too… Six? This is all news to me. I think that maybe my name is bandied about because I’m known to be bald. ‘What bald guy can we get?’ The reality is they can take any actor and shave his head or put a bald cap on him.
Now, granted, Cranston is placing the focus on the number of the films here and then going on to point out that anyone could play Lex Luthor. That doesn't mean he won't take the role. It just means he probably hasn't officially been offered it.
Don't get us wrong -- we're still holding out hope that Snyder and co. will cast Cranston as Lex Luthor. We just don't want to get our (or your) hopes up.
