The lovely Scarlett Johansson is trading in her Black Widow gear for some sexy alien genes in the new indie flick Under the Skin. Want a peek?
Directed by acclaimed art-house filmmaker Jonathan Glazer (Sexy Beast, Birth), the high-concept flick will follow Johansson’s alien character as she takes human form and seduces her way through Scotland. Johansson’s alien character preys on men, but eventually develops a conscience about all those murders.
The first footage has finally been released via the trailer above, and it’s definitely ... different. The early reviews have been mixed, but seem to indicate the film is full of moodiness and interesting ideas. Judging by the footage here, we definitely believe it.
Assuming this flick gets picked up for U.S. distribution in 2014, it could be one to keep an eye on.
