Electric vehicles have finally emerged from the concept auto show stage into the real world, but only one quick EV charger is ready for prime time commercial use, the Blink Level 2.
Crafted by Frog Design, the only industrial designers cooler than Apple, the black and white charger features color touch screen menus, and will work seamlessly with smart phones to communicate charging efficiency data. The device will be launched with two models, a home version and a commercial vendor version. Starting this fall 15,000 charging stations in 16 cities across six U.S. states will be deployed.
