We all love those silent hand/finger gestures Special Ops teams use in the movies when they're about to attack, now a pair of tech-enabled gloves gives firefighters the same kind of cool hand-speak in the service of saving lives.
Created by two Europe-based designers, the Frontline Gloves would allow firefighters to communicate wirelessly, without speaking, via the use of coded LED buttons embedded on their gloves. In additional to communication, the gloves also work as a proximity detector, helping firefighters to avoid obstacles in smoke obscured spaces.
