Microsoft holds a mock funeral for the iPhone and BlackBerry

I've heard of pumping up the team, but this just seems weird. Somewhere on or near Microsoft's Redmond campus today, they held a mock funeral for the iPhone and BlackBerry. The event anticipates the upcoming October 11 release of Windows Phone 7.
The procession included hearses for the competition, and pallbearers dressed in black with a lone bagpiper. A Michael Jackson "Thriller" dance was performed by the WP7 development team, and for some reason Darth Vader also made an appearance riding a Harley.
I suppose this event was really only meant for internal company entertainment, but it does give us a little insight into the corporate culture up in Redmond. Ironically, the pictures from Electronista were shot with an HTC Android phone.
