Nvidia Tegra 3 Almost Done, Tegra 4 On the Way

When it comes to ARM-based System-on-Chips, we really like what Nvidia's doing with Tegra. But for one reason or another, aside from the Zune HD, the Tegra chipset hasn't been adopted as widely as Nvidia hoped.
Even though Tegra 2 is right now one of the more impressive ARM-based packages, it hasn't found any homes. That will change when LG launches itsOptimus phones later this year, but are Tegra 2's days coming to an end?
That could be the case, as Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang said today that it is putting the finishing touches on Tegra 3 and that the work has already begun on the next-generation after that for Tegra 4. In fact, Nvidia said to expect a new Tegra every year.
While we like what Nvidia promises with each of its Tegra SoCs, we're still waiting on the real world products for Tegra 2.
