Netflix puts another bullet in DVD, removes it's queue from streaming devices

The DVD is dead! That's what video rental service, Netflix, is basically telling everyone. Why is the old optical disc dead? Because it's getting in the way of streaming video.

In an attempt to "concentrate on offering you the titles that are available to watch instantly," Netflix is going to remove the "Add to DVD queue" option from all streaming devices, including those such as the Boxee Box, Logitech Revue, etc.
Before everyone starts firing up hate emails to Netflix, know that you still have the "Add to DVD queue" option if you log in using a computer.
Personally, I think Netflix's decision is the right call. I can't tell you how many times I've browsed Netflix from my Logitech Revue only to discover that a movie I wanted to watchinstantly via streaming video was not available. Instead, I'm offered the option to add it to my DVD queue. After a few times of not seeing the movie you want available through streaming, you kind of give up on wanting to watch anything at all.
Netflix is just doing a little housecleaning. If the cleanup can lead to faster access to the video we want, when we want it, then so be it. LINK
