What would you do if you saw a woman walking around New York City with four iPads wrapped around her head?
Using the iPad's FaceTime video technology, people can see her face in real-time from multiple angles on the four iPads. She can see, too, as the reverse camera function lets "iPad Head Girl" see her surroundings in a live feed as well with special video glasses. She walks through a park with no trouble and even sits down to read a book while curious men point and peek.
But why?
It's a viral stunt to promote Cosmopolitan magazine's new iPad-only magazine, Cosmo For Guys. One brave soul walks up to iPad Head Girl and starts turning the pages on her face, clearly scrolling through the various sections of the new app.
Gizmodo explains the video concept: "The whole idea is, if you're a guy brave enough to touch her iPad head, you'll be able to get inside it. To read articles on how to tell if she cheats. Right. Is anyone else uncomfortable about that?"
According to Forbes, the debut issue of Cosmo For Guys, out now, includes "audio samples of women's top five bedroom noises" and 3D sex positions viewable from multiple angles. (Obviously, it's for men 21 and older.) Each issue costs $1.99 to read on the iPad, or readers can get a year's subscription for $19.99.
