Get ready! J.J. Abrams has ANOTHER sci-fi TV show heading our way

Just when you thought television couldn't get any more J.J.-riffic—what with Alcatraz,Person of Interest and Fringe unspooling weekly—NBC is getting back into bed with theStar Trek mastermind to plot a Revolution.

Written by Supernatural creator Eric Kripke, Revolution feels a bit like the late, lamentedJericho. As described by Deadline:
Revolution is a high-octane action drama following a group of characters struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist.
Entertainment Weekly adds a little more detail:
In this epic adventure thriller, a family struggles to reunite in a post-apocalyptic American landscape: a world of empty cities, local militias and heroic freedom fighters, where every single piece of technology—computers, planes, cars, phones, even lights—has mysteriously blacked out ... forever.
NBC was to be back in business with Abrams—who produced the short-lived spy show Undercoversfor them a couple years back—so badly that they've agreed to pay a $2 million penalty if it doesn't go to series. LINK
