Filming has finally begun on Michael Bay's Transformers 4. The cast and crew have set up shop in Monument Valley in the Navajo Nation near the border of Arizona and Utah. That explains the scenic backdrop of the first production photos featuring two new Autobots.
First up is a blue and black Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse. Under the hood it has 1,200 horsepower and is valued at $2.4 million. Next is a green C7 Corvette Stingray, which is based on a 2014 Chevrolet production model. Obviously, this race-inspired car has the need for speed. The folks over at JoBlo seem to have uncovered their secret Autobot identities. The Stingray is being billed as "Slingshot," while the Bugatti is called "Drift."
Transformers 4 stars Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing and the recently added T.J. Miller. The film is directed by Bay and opens in theaters June 27, 2014. PHOTOS
