It ain’t easy being a vampire. The sixth season of HBO’s True Blood looks to make life even tougher on the fang gang, with a new politician declaring war on vamps in a tense new trailer.
The new footage finds Governor Burrell, newcomer Arliss Howard, addressing the state and letting them know that vampires are not so welcome anymore. They’re shutting down vampire-run businesses, and encouraging every human out there to stock up on guns and wooden ammo.
The show has come a long way over the years, and season six sounds like it could be the wildest yet. Luckily, we only have a few more weeks to wait for the June 16 premiere.
