Bust out your chakram and prepare to yell like a warrior princess, because Xena might just be returning.
Xena Warrior Princess has been away from our screen for nearly 15 years now, but, much as with her '90s butt-kicking-female competition, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, her fans are still out there in droves. Really, with the advent of Netflix Instant, it's likely she's got more fans now than ever.
But when it's been a decade and a half, the likelihood of a return isn't the sort of thing a fan anticipates. Unless Xena herself, Lucy Lawless, starts tweeting about it, that is!
Let's assume for the moment that the "chap" in question is neither Bob Tapert nor any of the brothers Raimi. Even still, the notion of someone resurrecting the franchise (which far surpassed the show from which it was spawned, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys) is pretty darn exciting. But what "different form" would it take? We've got our fingers crossed that it'll be an animated series. That way Xena, Gabrielle, Joxer, Autolycus, et al. can return and still be played by the original actors.
But that's just our wishful thinking. If Xena does come back -- what would you want?
