Frak, yes! Two more BSG vets join Ron Moore's 17th precinct

It's definitely going to be an all-round Battlestar Galactica reunion for Ron Moore's upcoming NBC supernatural series pilot 17th Precinct, since both James Callis and Tricia Helfer have now joined their former BSG castmate Jamie Bamber on the show.

Deadline reports that Helfer will play a necromancer named Morgana who will be "the magical equivalent of a coroner, who is an expert at manipulating the potions, tools, herbs and spells of her trade."
As for James Callis, Deadline also reports that he will join the series as Jeff, a homicide detective at the 17th Precinct who is slender and has long dark hair and a British accent (we guess someone truly had Callis in mind for that particular role).
Set in the fictional town of Excelsior, 17th Precinct is a show where magic and supernatural elements rule over science. Bamber also plays a homicide detective.
How frakkin' awesome is that? We. Just. Can't. Wait. To. See. It. How about you? LINK
