Here at DVICE we tend to be suckers for anything Star Wars related. When I saw these ultra-cool sneakers with the built-in lightsabers, I thought these would be the perfect finishing touch for any true Star Wars geek's costume. So imagine my disappointment when I discovered that they only come in kids sizes.
The Stride Rite Dueling Lightsaber sneaks have a blue light-up lightsaber representing the Jedi on the left shoe and a red one for the Sith on the right shoe. I guess when you're feeling the dark force, you should be sure to kick your friends using your right foot.
The shoes are available for $56 a pair, in sizes from toddler up to youth 3. Unfortunately this is still way too small for my adult size 11 feet. Don't they realize that they're ignoring a huge adult Star Wars nerd market?
