As the sacred screenplay for J.J. Abrams' Star Wars VII is being massaged and manipulated, it's sweet ambrosia to look back fondly on the original trilogy and pray that some essence of them is being channeled into the next installments.
To help resurrect and restore the glory of arguably the saga's finest moment, here's a rare collection of behind-the-scenes shots from Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
Many have been unseen for years, including some amazing candids of director Irvin Kershner straddling a tauntaun, Carrie Fisher napping on a snowmobile, Harrison Ford piloting the production's snowcat and some epic stills of a Wampa whacking a stormtrooper from a deleted scene.
