The Dark Knight Rises officially gets even more Inceptiony

You remember how Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard were in talks to be in Christopher Nolan's final Bat flick? Well, there's good news for all you Inception lovers out there (a tiny group of fringe fans, I know). News dropped today that both of them have been officially cast in Batman: The Dark Knight Rises.
We're pretty stoked, ourselves, and not just because of the Inception love (although that helps). It feel like the characters Gordon-Levitt and Cotillard are playing give some interesting insight into what kind of movie Nolan's making.
Here's a little from the official release:

"Cotillard will appear as Miranda Tate, a Wayne Enterprises board member eager to help a still-grieving Bruce Wayne resume his father's philanthropic endeavors for Gotham. Gordon-Levitt will play John Blake, a Gotham City beat cop assigned to special duty under the command of Commissioner Gordon."
We hope this means we'll be seeing a lot more of what makes Gotham tick and hear more about the people who fight to keep the city great without wearing a cape and cowl. Maybe Nolan could take a page from Ed Brubaker and Greg Rucka's popular "Gotham Central" comics? In any event, the moreInception alums the merrier, we say.
It would seem Nolan agrees:
"When you collaborate with people as talented as Marion and Joe, it comes as no surprise that you would want to repeat the experience. I immediately thought of them for the roles of Miranda and Blake, and I am looking forward to working with both of them again."
What do you think? Does this new casting news give you tingles in your nerd spot?
