News of Ridley Scott's new Alien prequel Prometheus has many fans of wondering if the iconic look of the original film will be continued by artist H.R. Giger. While set photos are hard to come by, diehard fans can still sample that world if they're willing to travel.
The H.R. Giger bar was opened in Switzerland back in 2003, and although it is situated next to the Giger Museum, it remains a relatively hidden gem of sci-fi fandom due to its far off location. Fittingly, the alien relic design is housed inside a 400 year-old, medieval chateau in the town of Gruyères. As cool as this bar is, it's only a shadow of the now defunct Giger Bar Tokyo, which the artist abandoned years ago after it was taken over by local Yakuza (Japanese gangsters).
