Patches Incoming for Skyrim, Battlefield 3

Skyrim and Battlefield 3 may be two of the best releases of 2011... but nobody ever said they were perfect. There's plenty of bugs in both games; some are hilarious, others are game-breaking. Thankfully, both Bethesda and DICE will be releasing patches for their blockbuster games shortly.

The Skyrim patch will be hitting the web in the week after Thanksgiving (that's the week after November 24 for those of you not familiar with US holidays). The news comes via atweet from Bethesda's Pete Hines:

"PS3 & 360 updates have been submitted for certification. PC coming too. Current estimate is they will be live the week after T'giving."

Battlefield 3 players can also look forward to a fairly hefty update, hopefully arriving next week. The official Battlefield 3 blog has a list of fixes:
"So what's in the PC patch? You'll see improved polish, stability, weapons balancing, squad control functionality, user interface enhancements, and several feature enhancements that address feedback the community has provided to date - plus we're removing the so called "negative mouse acceleration" that some of you have experienced."
Thanks, Joystiq.
