Careful now. The new Lenovo IdeaCentre Q180 is the "world's smallest desktop PC," not the world's smallest PC. Not that we're really complaining, considering how we love small things, but the Q180 is basically a thin nettop PC. You'll need to provide your own monitor and human-sized keyboard. For $370, the IdeaCentre Q180 is an elegant little desktop PC running Windows 7. It's not a gaming PC, but it should get the job done for basic Web browsing, HD movies and office work.
It's powered by a 2.13GHz Intel Atom D2500 dual-core processor, AMD Radeon HD 6450A 512MB graphics with DirectX11, 4GB of DDR3 RAM and comes with a 750GB hard drive or 128GB SSD, 802.11n Wi-Fi, four USB 2.0, two USB 3.0, HDMI, VGA ports and 8-in-1 card reader.
The IdeaCentre Q180 does come with a tiny portable remote/mini keyboard with trackball, but it's hardly ideal to be using that for work or for gaming (even though that's how Lenovo's advertising it in the video below). The little desktop can also crank out sound at 7.1 surround sound, should you require it.
For those still buying physical media, an optional Blu-ray or DVD drive is also sold separately.
You should be able to get one in December.
